Mr. Ang Dawa Sherpa is the trek manager and principal leader of the company, with over 24 years of experience in the Nepali trekking industry. A former Sirdar, he has led more than 100 treks across Nepal and Tibet, gaining expertise in leadership, medical care, and languages. His skills are highly sought after by international schools, NGOs, and specialized trekking programs.
Pem Dorji Sherpa

Mr. Pem Dorji Sherpa grew up in Solukhumbu with a passion for the Himalayas. A certified climbing and trekking guide licensed by Nepal’s Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, he has 12 years of professional experience and has successfully summited 7000m+ peaks, including Imja-Tse (6,165m). Since 2014, he has guided numerous treks and climbs in Nepal, Tibet, and China, ensuring safety and expert instruction for all climbers.

Mr. Lhakpa Sonam Sherpa is a highly experienced guide with Nord Extreme Himalaya, certified by Nepal’s Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. Climbing since a young age, he has been guiding treks and climbs since 2016, handling emergencies and leading with care for trekkers’ safety. Passionate about travel, learning, and cultural exchange, he has worked in Pakistan, India, Russia, and Bhutan, and takes pride in showcasing Nepal’s Himalayas to the world.

Mrs. Jayanti Rai Sherpa has been a vital member of the Nord Extreme Himalaya team for eight years. With a bachelor’s in Travel and Tourism and 17 years as a Staff Nurse, she combines professionalism with a warm, cheerful approach. She ensures excellent customer service, manages client queries, and even assists with finance matters, making her one of the most valued team members.

Mr. Ang Dawa Sherpa born in Solukhumbu district of Nepal is an honest, hardworking, experienced as well as government registered professional trekking guide who has been working in tourism since eight years. He has received trekking guide training conducted by Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) and also other tourism related trainings conducted by various organizations. He is now very much familiar with popular trekking regions of Nepal such as Everest, Annapurna, Langtang and many others trekking regions including, Dolpo, Upper Mustang, Narphu Valley, and other new trekking routes.
