Day 1 – Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m): Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Rest and acclimatize after your journey. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 – Kathmandu: Attend an expedition briefing with the Tourism Department, complete equipment and permit checks including TIMS and Upper Mustang Restricted Area Permit, and explore Thamel or local markets if time permits. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 – Kathmandu → Pokhara (820 m): Drive approximately 6–7 hours through scenic hills and rivers to Pokhara. Transfer to hotel and enjoy leisure time for lakeside walks or boating. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 – Pokhara → Jomsom → Trek to Kagbeni (2,800 m): Take a short flight from Pokhara to Jomsom (25–30 min). Trek ~8 km (3–4 hrs) to Kagbeni, the gateway to Upper Mustang. Overnight at lodge.
Day 5 – Kagbeni → Chele (3,200 m): Trek ~12 km (5–6 hrs) through traditional villages, arid landscapes, and narrow canyons. Overnight at lodge.
Day 6 – Chele → Gilling (3,500 m): Trek ~10 km (4–5 hrs), observing local Tibetan Buddhist culture and monasteries along the way. Overnight at lodge.
Day 7 – Ghami → Tsarang (3,550 m): Trek ~10 km (4–5 hrs) and visit Tsarang monastery, exploring traditional Mustang architecture. Overnight at lodge.
Day 8 – Tsarang → Lo-Manthang (3,800 m): Trek ~12 km (5–6 hrs) to Lo-Manthang, the walled capital of Upper Mustang. Explore the royal palace, monasteries, and local Tibetan culture. Overnight at lodge.
Day 9 – Lo-Manthang → Laktung Dovan (Camp): Trek ~10 km (4–5 hrs) beginning the ascent toward Mustang Himal Base Camp. Overnight camping.
Day 10 – Laktung Dovan → Taththa Khola (Camp): Trek ~12 km (5–6 hrs) along high-altitude desert and rocky trails. Overnight camping.
Day 11 – Taththa Khola → Mustang Himal Base Camp (6,195 m): Trek ~8–10 km (4–5 hrs) to the base camp. Prepare for summit attempts. Overnight at base camp.
Days 12–15 – Mustang Himal Climbing (6,195 m): Summit attempts, acclimatization climbs, and exploration of surrounding peaks and glaciers. Overnight at base camp.
Day 16 – Base Camp → Taththa Khola Camp: Descend back to Taththa Khola. Overnight camping.
Day 17 – Taththa Khola → Laktung Dovan (Camp): Trek back to Laktung Dovan. Overnight camping.
Day 18 – Laktung Dovan → Tsarang (3,550 m): Trek ~12 km (5–6 hrs) to Tsarang. Overnight at lodge.
Day 19– Tsarang Drive to Jomsom (2,800 m): Trek ~12 km (5–6 hrs) to Kagbeni and continue to Jomsom. Overnight at lodge.
Day 20 – Jomsom → Pokhara → Kathmandu: Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara (25–30 min), then onward flight to Kathmandu (25–30 min). Transfer to hotel and leisure time. Overnight at hotel.
Day 21 – Kathmandu → Departure: Transfer from hotel to Tribhuvan International Airport. End of journey with unforgettable Himalayan memories.
